Terms of Use

These Terms apply to every mobile application published by 6AppStudio and its publishing labels, including Splat. They do not govern this website. Where an individual app ships its own additional terms, those apply alongside these and take precedence for that app only.

1. Who we are

6AppStudio is an independent app studio that designs, builds and publishes mobile applications. We release apps both under the 6AppStudio name and through our publishing labels — Splat is one such label. Throughout these Terms, "we" refers to 6AppStudio and the publishing label responsible for the app you are using.

2. Acceptance

By downloading, installing or using any of our applications ("the App"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

You may use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

Some apps or features may require you to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity that takes place under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

5. Device permissions

Depending on what an app does, it may ask your permission to use device features such as the camera, microphone, photo library, notifications or storage. Permission is always requested at the point the feature needs it, and you may grant or refuse it. You can change your choice at any time in your device settings; refusing a permission may disable the specific feature that relies on it, but the rest of the app will keep working.

6. In-app purchases and subscriptions

An app may offer optional in-app purchases, such as unlocking premium features or removing ads. All payments are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, not by us, and you agree to their respective billing terms.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel through your app store account before the renewal date. Refunds are handled under the policies of the store you purchased from; we do not offer refunds outside those policies, but we will help you raise a request if you contact us.

7. Advertisements

An app may display advertisements served by third-party advertising networks. Where ads are present, they form part of the free version of the app unless you choose an ad-free option, if one is offered. Advertising may be personalised, non-personalised or limited according to your choices, device settings and applicable law, as explained in our Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual property

All content within the App — including text, graphics, audio, interface design and code — is the intellectual property of 6AppStudio, its publishing labels, or its content providers, and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App. You may not copy, distribute, modify or reuse any part of it without our prior written consent.

9. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data is processed, why it is processed, and the choices available to you.

10. Availability and changes to the App

We may add, change or remove features, and we may stop distributing or supporting an app altogether. We will give reasonable notice where a change materially reduces what a paid feature does.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you breach these Terms or use the App in a way that could harm us, other users, or third parties. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind. We make no guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the App, including loss of data, service interruption, or the actions of third parties. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when the current version took effect, and continued use of an app after a change means you accept the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
